Description & Remarks

A vicarious desert species to the coastal Mediterranean M. pulchella. The leaves of M. pygmaea are usually basal and not spread along the stems, as written in Flora Palaestina. M. pygmea has small and white flowers,  in our view it is an arid form of M. pulchella.
