Description & Remarks
The wild almond of the arid edges of the Mediterranean region, such as the eastern Galilee above the Hula Valley, Samaria Desert and a few cliffs of the eastern Judean Mountains and Edom mountains (S Jordan). Considered to be the wild progenitor of the cultivated almond in the Middle East.
