Description & Remarks
A typical plant of wind swept slopes of the peaks of Mt Hermon and Lebanon mountains. Resistant to strong winds, drought, snow cover for long times and goat grazing. The whole Genus includes species that are important and often dominant in the tragacanth vegetation of the Levant (Middle East) mountains.
