השערות בצד התחתון של עלים צעירים יוצרות במגע עדין של האצבעות כדורי צמר שיורדים בקלות. הצד העליון של העלה קירח. הגבעול מסתיים בשני ענפי פריחה נושאים פרחים נקביים
