Description & Remarks

A perennial herb forming often large carpets, found in deep alluvial soils, mainly in traditionally managed agricultural fields. Leaves densely wrinkled. According the literature the pedicel is about half the length of the calyx, in the field we found also plants with sessile flowers (especially upper flowers). The calyx is tubular-campanulate, about 8 mm long. Corolla much exerted, about twice the length of the calyx.
