Description & Remarks

Some botanists treat this species within Aristida coerulescens Desf. We believe these are two separate species. A. adscensionis is an annual of the extreme desert, with shorter inflorescences. While A. coerulescens is a perennial of the Mediterranean to the semi-desert.
