Description & Remarks

This is Lepidium didymum L., and Linnaeus was absolutely correct in placing this South American native in the right genus. All floras place the species in Coronopus Zinn (as C. didymus (L.) Smith), a polyphyletic genus well nested within Lepidium. The species in naturalized worldwide (North and C.
