Description & Remarks

A small annual plant, common in many parts of the country in bathas, abandoned fields, herbaceous vegetation, and steppes. Two common varieties have deep blue corolla. The rare variety, (var. arvensis) has red-orange corolla and is confiend to fresh-water springs all over the country. The latter variety is the common one in Europe.
